The Interior Design Process
I will learn about your style and needs, and what you love and don't love about your home. We will discuss ideas and share photos of kitchen and bath design inspirations. Based upon your budget, I can determine what makes sense for your remodel.
We will talk about design project requirements and goals. Roughly detailed computer renderings of your bath or kitchen site plan, floor plans, furniture layouts, and fixture layouts will be presented to you for review and revision.
After final approval of the schematic design, I develop all plans in greater detail. Colors and finishes are refined, flooring, cabinets, and fixtures are selected and cost estimates are prepared. The design is presented to you for review, revision, and final approval.
The specific details of the remodel are documented, including finish selections such as back splash, flooring, and paint, lighting plans and fixtures, plumbing fixture layout, and counter tops. I have access to the best contractors and purchases are made.
This is the final stage where your kitchen or bathroom is built and installed. I will be on-site during remodeling to ensure items are received in perfect condition, installed correctly, and all directions have been followed properly.
